Privacy policy

Your tracking data

Tappo stores entries, quantities, units, dates, notes, categories, quick-log buttons and goals so you can track your habits. Without an account, this information stays in the app’s local storage. Your device and its backup settings may retain copies.

Optional accounts and sync

If you create an account, your email address, account identifier and tracking data are processed by Supabase to provide sign-in and sync. Sign in with Apple may supply an Apple private relay address instead of your personal email. Passwords are handled by the authentication service; they are not included in tracking records. Session credentials are stored in the native device Keychain, or browser session storage for the website.

The paired Apple Watch exchanges tracking records with your iPhone. Tappo does not read HealthKit data or request your location, contacts, camera or microphone.

How information is used

Information is used to save your records, show totals and history, sync devices when you choose an account, and help with support requests. Tappo does not include advertising or third-party analytics SDKs, sell your tracking data, or use it for cross-app advertising tracking.

Service providers

Supabase hosts account and sync services, Resend delivers account verification and password-reset emails using your email address and the message content, Cloudflare hosts tappodata.com, and Apple processes Apple sign-in and App Store purchases. These services may process technical information such as IP addresses, request logs and security events to operate and protect their services. Apple handles payment details; Tappo does not receive your payment card information. Service providers may process information outside your country.

Retention and your choices

Synced data is retained while your account exists. Deleting an individual entry or clearing history marks records as deleted so changes can reach your other devices; it does not delete the account or immediately erase every underlying record.

To permanently delete your account and its cloud tracking records, open Settings → Account & sync → Delete account in the app. This also removes that account’s saved file from the device making the request. Separate data saved without an account is kept. Offline copies on other devices, device backups, and provider security logs or backups may remain according to their settings and retention practices. To remove local-only data, delete the app and manage your device backups.

If you used Sign in with Apple, you can also remove Tappo’s authorization in your Apple Account’s Sign-In & Security settings. Deleting Tappo does not delete your Apple Account or cancel an App Store purchase.

Contact and requests

For privacy, access or deletion assistance, use the contact on our support page. Do not send passwords or private tracking history unless needed for your request. We may verify account ownership before acting.
